Humanlike, in our image, after our likeness

The photographs were taken in Helsinki on May 28th.

Today we walked up and down Sallatunturi hills. It was sunny and warm, 20 °C, and there was a little bit of wind on top of the hills to cool down. It is early summer (or late spring) in Lapland, and there are no biting mosquitoes yet, so it is a pleasure to walk in a t-shirt.

(Posting title is from the poem I Wasn’t One of the Six Million: And What Is My Life Span? Open Closed Open by Yehuda Amichai.)
